JUNE 19th 2008 | WARPED TOUR & SOME NEWS
Well, well, well, it's been a long long time since the last updates. Sorry about that... But who really cares!?
So, with that said, let's get to the latest updates on the band.
First of all, we've been recorded some new demos lately, 12 songs that is. We're still working on new songs,
and the writing process is going very well so far. If you haven't see us live lately, we're regularly playing
new songs at our shows. You can check out our MySpace to see & hear 2 new songs live in Montreal at
L'Hémisphère Gauche.
Speaking of shows, we're super stocked to be once again part of Toronto and Montreal stops of the
Warped tour 2008!! We'll be
playing on the Union/D-tox stage along with The Planet Smashers, The Flatliners, The One Night Band, The Real Deal,
Ceremonial Snips(TO only), The Creepshow, The Saint Alvia Cartel, The Johnstones, The Riptides(MTL only) and
The Black Lungs(TO only). If you've been to the Union stage before, you know it's gonna be fucking awesome!!
If you never did, come and discover what the Union label group is all about!

19 JUIN 2008 | WARPED TOUR & DES NOUVELLES
Ouin, ouin, ouin, ca fait un bail qu'on vous a pas donné de nouvelles. Désolé... Pas trop fachés??
Ceci étant dit, voici se qui se passe avec Subb ces temps ci.
Premièrement, on a enregistré des nouveaux demos dernièrement, 12 chansons pour être plus précis. On travail
encore sur des chansons pour le nouvel album et l'écriture va très bon train. Si vous nous avez pas vu en
spectacle dernièrement, on joue régulièrement des nouvelles chansons. Vous pouvez visiter notre page MySpace pour
entendre et voir 2 nouvelles chansons enregistré live à L'Hémisphère Gauche.
Parlant de spectacles, on est vraiment content de vous annoncer qu'on fera à nouveau partie du Warped tour 2008
à
Toronto et Montreal!! Nous allons jouer sur la scène Union/D-Tox au coté de The Planet Smashers, The Flatliners,
The One Night Band, The Real Deal, Ceremonial Snips(TO seulement), The Creepshow, The Saint Alvia Cartel,
The Johnstones, The Riptides(MTL seulement) and The Black Lungs(TO seulement). Si vous êtes déjà venu voir
la scène Union, vous savez que ca va être malade!!! Sinon, venez découvrir se dont les groupes du
Union label group sont capables!

JANUARY 8th 2008 | RETRO 2007 - PLAN 2008
First and foremost, we'd like to wish you all a happy new year for 2008! For us, 2007 has been a very good year.
So here's a recap of our best moments in the last year.
2007 started off running with a show in our hometown of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu at the Cabaret-Theatre.
We also had the privilege of being invited by the Vulgaires Machins for a series of shows across our beautiful
province. With Akuma also on the bill, the tour was spread throughout February, March and April. And, although
every show was sick, the one at Metropolis on Feb. 24th stuck out the most. After that in early May,
Rej “123 punk” asked us to play at his birthday party in an over packed venue that is Le Vestiaire. What a
blowout!
June and July were also pretty busy for us with a show at the Just for laughs Cabaret with our friends from
Flatliners, Staylefish and the Ceremonial Snips. But we also played one of our worst shows that month too.
Just type “Subb Sorel” and you'll get the idea. In July, we just had time to shoot a video for
“The Factories” before flying overseas to the land of the Samurai for a tour. Despite the language barrier and
huge cultural shock, it was one of the best tours ever. Packed shows, incredible kids, and treated like kings
by One Big Family records. Without Satoshi, Megumi, Betty and the Sunset Bus crew, the tour wouldn't have been
the same. We've made so many good friends!
August rolls in and still feeling the effects of jetlag, we were fortunate enough to play once more at the
Vans Warped tour on the Union Stage. Once again, as always, tons of fun! And, a couple of days later, we were
invited to play a couple of songs (Don't be gone; The feeling you lost it) on “Plus sur Commande” on
Musique Plus. You can find the interview and show on their website.
After a couple of shows at the metric in August and October, we “discovered” a great venue in Sherbrooke called
“Le Téléphone Rouge”. The year ended with a show in the middle of nowhere with the incomparable Rudy Caya.
Nice place... just a bit out of reach though. November also saw our clip for “The Factories” become “Buzzclip”
at Musique Plus and receive an exceptional visibility. It has also lingered in the daily top 5 for weeks.
Thanks to all of you that have voted for us. A special thanx also to Jo Desbiens for his great vision.
Plans for 2008? We'll soon be starting putting down demo tracks as we already close to ten new songs. We'll take
the next couple of months to continue to write new songs and eventually and hopefully put out a new record
in '08. As for musical direction, we're shifting towards uniting Ska and Opera/musical...ok, we're just
playing with ya;) But you know us by now, it should be a logical step from “The Motions”, stay tuned!
Thanx to everybody that has supported us throughout the year, either by a vote at M+, bought an album or a
t-shirt or even just a comment on myspace...every little gesture counts and is greatly appreciated.

8 JANVIER 2008 | RETRO 2007 - PLAN 2008
Tout d’abord, bonne année 2008! L’année 2007 a été très bonne et pleine de rebondissements dans le camp de
Subb, alors en voici donc les meilleurs moments.
L’année 2007 a démarré solidement avec un show au Cabaret-théâtre dans notre ville natale de
Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Puis, on a eu le privilège d’être invité par les Vulgaires Machins pour une série
de spectacles à travers la belle province. Également accompagnée d’Akuma, la tournée s’est étalée sur les
mois de février, mars et avril. Bien que tous les shows étaient assez débiles, le show du 24 février au
Métropolis a été quelque chose d’assez exceptionnel! Ensuite, en mai, Rej « 123punk » Laplanche nous a demandé
de jouer pour sa fête au bar Le Vestiaire. Ouch! Gros party et beaucoup trop de gens pour la capacité du
petit club! Que de plaisir…
Les mois de juin et juillet ont été bien chargés aussi. Nous avons fait un show au Cabaret du Musée Juste
Pour Rire à Montréal avec nos chums Flatliners, Ceremonial Snips et Staylefish. Subb a aussi donné son pire
concert à vie en juin. Allez sur youtube et tapez « Subb Sorel ». Une vidéo vaut mille mots! Puis en juillet,
nous avons tourné le clip pour la pièce « The Factories » juste avant de nous envoler pour le Japon. Malgré
une barrière de langage et un gros choc culturel, c’est de loin la meilleure tournée de notre vie. Des shows
bien remplis, un public incroyable et un label japonais qui nous traite comme des rois! Merci encore à
One Big Family Records. Satoshi, Megumi, Betty et le Sunset Bus crew ; sans vous cette tournée n’aurait pas
eu le même succès.
En août, encore sous l’effet puissant du décalage horaire, nous avons eu la chance de participer au
Warped Tour de Montréal sur la scène Union. Du gros fun encore une fois! De plus, quelques jours plus tard,
on a fait une émission spéciale à Plus Sur Commande et on a pu y jouer deux pièces, soit « Don’t be gone » et
« The feeling you’ve lost it ». L’entrevue et la prestation se retrouvent sur le site de web de Musique Plus.
Après deux shows au Métric en août et en octobre, on a découvert une belle salle à Sherbrooke, soit le
Téléphone Rouge. L’année s’est terminée par un show au fin fond de nulle part avec l’incomparable Rudy Caya.
Une belle place… juste un peu loin! Novembre a aussi vu le clip de « The Factories » devenir Buzzclip à
Musique Plus et recevoir une visibilité exceptionnelle. Le clip a aussi traîné plusieurs semaines dans le
Top 5 quotidien. Merci à tous ceux qui ont votés! Surtout, merci à Jo Desbiens pour le clip.
Les plans pour 2008? On va bientôt commencer à faire des démos parce qu’on a presque dix nouvelles tounes de
prêtes. On va prendre les prochains mois pour continuer à composer pour éventuellement sortir un nouveau
disque en 2008. La direction musicale est sensiblement la même, une suite logique de « The Motions ».
Merci à tous ceux qui nous ont supportés en 2007, un vote à M+, un achat de cd en magasin ou d’un t-shirt en
show, un commentaire sur myspace… Tous les petits gestes comptent.

We're stoked to once again be part of the summer punk rock tradition that is the Warped tour!
Montreal Warped-goers be warned: this year's Union stage will rattle your wallet chains and knock
your shoes off. The lineup includes SUBB, The Saint Alvia Cartel, The Planet Smashers, The Flatliners,
The Toasters, Big D and the kids table, The Johnstones, The Ceremonial Snips, The One night band
as well as a massive super secret guest band that we can't even announce yet. Check out

MAY 10th 2007 | SUBB IS GOING TO JAPAN
In support of their album The Motions, released April 18th 2007 in Japan on One
Big Family Records, home of Sublime and Long Beach Dub Allstars to name a few,
Subb will head out on a Japan tour. That's right! From July 20th through July
30th, they'll play 10 shows in 11 days all over Japan. Here are the dates :

I added more pics and more posters in the media section. Also, i've put links to some of our videos,
two of them are live.
We have 2 more shows left on the Vulgaires Machins / Subb / Akuma tour. The tour will stop in Trois-Rivieres
April 6th at the Maquisart and April 13th in Sherbrooke at Theatre Granada. Put that in your agenda!!
More shows will be confirmed in the upcoming weeks.

FEBRUARY 14th 2007 | THE MOTIONS, MUSIQUE PLUS & MORE SHOW ON THE WAY

I was sick and tired of looking at the ''Watch our new video, coming soon'' logo on the main page,
so i decided to do things by myself. It may not be as good looking as the old logo, but at least
you can watch the video for The Motions by clicking the black square thingee. I also added another link
where you can see the band talk about tattoos(the art, not the song). It was filmed by MusiquePlus for
the show called Tatoués, better known as Inked.
It's February 14th, so i guess i might as well wish you guys a Happy Valentine's day...

Allez faire un tour dans la section SHOWS, plusieurs spectacles ont été ajoutés.
J'étais vraiment écoeuré de voir le logo ''Watch our new video, coming soon'' sur notre site web, alors
j'ai décidé de faire les choses par moi-même. Je ne suis pas vraiment un maitre des site web,
donc ne regardez pas le côté esthétique de la chose. Au moin vous pouvez visionnez le putain de vidéo
pour la pièce The Motions, en cliquant sur le carré noir avec un genre d'écriture en blanc. J'ai aussi
ajouté un extrait vidéo de l'émission Tatoués, mieux connu sous Inked, diffusé à MusiquePlus la semaine dernière.
C'est le 14 février, alors, tant qu'à y être, Bonne St-Valentin...
